Prof. Piotr Bałczewski honoured with Stanisław Kostanecki Medal of Polish Chemical Society

Prof. Piotr Bałczewski from the Institute of Chemistry of the Faculty of Science & Technology was awarded the Stanisław Kostanecki Medal of the Polish Chemical Society for outstanding achievements in the field of organic chemistry, obtained as a result of research conducted by the Professor at the Centre for Molecular and Macromolecular Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Łódź and at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.

The application for the Medal was submitted by the Łódź Branch of the Polish Chemical Society.

The prestigious distinction of the scientific community of chemists will be presented during the opening of the 66th Congress of the Polish Chemical Society, which will be held in Poznań on 15-22 September 2024.
