Invitation to IV Congress of Young Science

We invite you to take part in the 4th Young Science Congress, which will be held at the University of Gdańsk on July 11-13, 2024. This invitation is addressed to students, PhD students, academics and all interested parties.

The 4th Young Science Congress is a unique opportunity for young scientists to present their research results, share their theses and establish valuable scientific contacts. The event has an international and multidisciplinary character, combining various scientific fields.

Although the process of submitting scientific panels is just beginning, we can assure you that the programme will be diverse and inspiring, as in previous editions. Sessions and discussions are planned, covering a wide range of topics, from the sciences to the humanities, which will be an excellent opportunity to exchange thoughts and experiences. The topics of the panels are not limited.

We are also particularly honoured to invite you to act as moderators of individual panels. As moderators, you will have the opportunity not only to lead the discussion, but also to influence the shaping of the scientific space during the Congress.

Some highlights of the panels:

You need a panel supervisor who verifies the substantive level of the panel. The supervisor should hold at least a doctoral degree. Their task will be to admit the submitted papers to appear in the panel on the basis of abstracts sent by the speakers;

Filling out the application form – it only takes a moment! You need the name of the panel, a short description, some information about the panel and a scan of the supervisor's consent. In order for the panel to start, a minimum of 3 papers approved by the Supervisor must be submitted to it;

The moderator/organiser leads the panel during the Congress, gives certificates to the participants and completes short documentation. After the end of the Congress, participants will have the opportunity to publish post-conference articles in the journal "Progress – Journal of Young Researchers", which has been published at the University of Gdańsk since 2016. It is published by representatives of a number of scientific disciplines and is addressed mainly to students, PhD students and young scientists.

The cost of participation in the Congress is PLN 490, while the panel organisers will have a rate of PLN 390. As part of the fee, we provide participants with full board and participation in all scheduled events. It is possible to stay at a preferential price (PLN 32.40 per person-night net) in student dormitories of the University of Gdańsk in Oliwa.We encourage you to read the details of the Congress and register on our website.
