Orientation Day for Erasmus students at JDU
We welcome Erasmus+ students to our University!
In the first week of March, more students from partner universities within the Erasmus+ programme joined the academic community of JDU. They came to Częstochowa from universities in France, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey and Spain. They will participate in classes at the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Art, the Faculty of Humanities, the Wladyslaw Bieganski Collegium Medicum and the Faculty of Law and Economics.
On the 6th of March, students participated in the Orientation Day organised by the Welcome Centre. During the meeting, they received the Welcome Package, which includes brochures with information to facilitate acclimatization at JDU and in the city, as well as practical gifts. The information and promotional materials were financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Welcome to Poland Programme (2022). In addition to discussing administrative, didactic and residence issues, students had the opportunity to take an introductory walk around the university and campus in the company of a representative of the Erasmus Students Club.
We encourage JDU students and PhD students to get involved in helping international students acclimatize to our University, city and country. If you are interested, you can apply to the Welcome Centre (mgr Agnieszka Jeż-Jakubczak, welcomecentre@ujd.edu.pl) or the chairman of the Erasmus Students Club (dr Bartosz Stuła, club_erasmus@ujd.edu.pl).
