Cooperation between Department of Economics & Finance of JDU and No 1 Secondary School in Kluczbork
On March 19, 2024, a ceremony was held to sign a Letter of Intent between Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa and No 1 Secondary School in Kluczbork. The event was attended by: the Rector of JDU prof. Anna Wypych-Gawrońska, the Head of the School, mgr Przemysław Ziółkowski, the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics of JDU, prof. Ewelina Żelasko-Makowska and the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs in the field of Economics, prof. Paulina Ucieklak-Jeż.
No 1 Secondary School in Kluczbork is one of the student-friendly schools, it is the Ambassador of the European Parliament and the Golden School of the National Bank of Poland. It has a wide range of didactic classes, educates in professions such as: economics technician, advertising technician, photography and multimedia technician, as well as nutrition and catering service technician. Thanks to committed and competent teachers and modern educational infrastructure, graduates of the School in Kluczbork have a chance to gain a solid education and prepare for further professional development.
As part of the cooperation between the Department of Economics and Finance of JDU and No 1 Secondary School in Kluczbork, the School will promote the University in its community, and individual meetings of the University's representatives with the School's students will serve to present the University's educational offer. All activities are aimed at motivating students to further development and education - in particular in the field of economic subjects - and to prepare them to study at our University. Thanks to the established cooperation, we will be able to reach a wider group of potential students and build a positive image of the University among the school community.
The first visible effect of the cooperation will be the participation of the academics of the Department of Economics and Finance of JDU in the Science Festival organised by the School in Kluczbork on 25-27.03.2024.
