What to spend NRP money on? – preferably on JDU teaching hospital
Poles are wondering what to spend the money from the National Reconstruction Programme (NRP) on. Hence, the journalists of "Gazeta Wyborcza" decided to carry out the action "I vote for the city, for the region, for Europe". As a result, it turned out that the readers of the northern part of the Silesian Voivodeship would be most willing to spend the money on the teaching hospital of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa! Such a way of allocating the money proves the high demand of patients and their relatives for professional health care, which could be provided by the doctors of the teaching hospital. Let's not forget about the fact that the investment is associated with other benefits that such a facility brings: e.g. the possibility of using modern equipment, the development of new branches of research, the employment of new specialists, or even increased competition among clinics in the region, which may result in an increase in the quality of medical services. The Readers' decision also testifies to the attachment and trust that the University has already earned by graduates of e.g. nursing who are perfectly prepared to perform the profession.
The results of the survey are certainly an expression of appreciation for the activities of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa for the benefit of the socio-economic environment. The JDU community would like to thank you for your votes for another project important for the development of the University, the city and the region! Talks about the university hospital have been going on for some time now, gaining more and more supporters of the project. This group also includes the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The whole article can be found on the pages of "Gazeta Wyborcza".
It is worth noting that the voice about the need to build a clinical hospital of the Jagiellonian University with the involvement of funds from the NRP was also widely echoed in the Katowice "Gazeta Wyborcza".
