UNIVERSITY CELEBRATION DAY
We would like to invite the academic community and friends of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa to the celebration of the University Day, which will take place on June 3 at 12.00 in the Auditorium Maximum (building at Waszyngtona 4/8). This year's celebration has a special character, as it will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union.
During the ceremony, many important points of the programme are planned. One of them will be the ceremonial awarding of the title of doctor honoris causa to Prof. Jerzy Buzek, not only an outstanding member of the European Parliament, but also a well-known scientist and politician, whose commitment to the development of science and society deserves special recognition.
The University Celebration Day will be accompanied by a ceremonial concert and exhibition dedicated to prof. Jerzy Buzek, Doctor Honoris Causa of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, which will take place on June 3, 2024 at the Częstochowa Philharmonic. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m.
During the ceremony, the staff and students of the Department of Music will present themselves. The program includes the following works:

The second part of the Concert will feature the Academic Choir of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa conducted by dr Marek Kudra
The concert will be accompanied by an exhibition of the staff of the Department of Painting and the Department of Graphic Arts entitled "SPACES OF ART". Its curator is dr Vitaly Bohatyrewicz.
