OUR STAFF MEMBER FROM DEPARTMENT FOR RESEARCH & INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN AVEIRO, PORTUGAL

On 17-21.06.2024, dr Andrii Galaidin, International Cooperation Specialist of the Department for Research & Interantional Relations of JDU participated in the International Staff Week (ISW) at the University of Aveiro, Portugal as part of the Erasmus+ training trip. The event was attended by about 20 people from countries such as: Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Poland was represented at the ISW by Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa and the Lodz University of Technology. The main theme of the event was intercultural communication. The intensive training program included a short course in Portuguese, as well as a number of workshops and seminars, including support for foreigners at the university, challenges regarding the integration of foreign students at the university, etc. The ISW event is a great opportunity to improve one's own competences, as well as to present Jan Dlugosz University once again on the international arena and to establish cooperation with new foreign universities.
