STUDENTS CREATE MURAL SYMBOLISING INTERNATIONALISATION OF JDU
Students of painting (Faculty of Art) made a mural on one of the walls of the corridor in the building at Waszyngtona 4/8. The mural depicts famous buildings that we know from the capitals of European countries (but not only). They are to symbolise the University's openness to the internationalisation of our academic community. The place where the mural was created is not accidental. It is located at the entrance to the Welcome Centre (of the Department of Research & International Relations). It is to the Welcome Centre that students and other guests direct their first steps when visiting our University. They can receive help and necessary information about the University, moving around Częstochowa and the region from the unit's staff. Our application for foreign students will also be helpful in this.
The second-year students of painting who have participated in the creation of the mural: Babura Andrii, Ćwik Marcelina, Kasprzyk Kaja, Klama Jakub, Kwapień Maria, Mroczek Wirginia, Mucha Patrycja, Niezgoda Lena, Oleksiienko Oleksii, Paczkowska Daria, Pavlyuk Yuliya, Zgrzebna Anna.
The activities were supervised by a lecturer at the Department of Painting, mgr Tadeusz Kosela.
