End of recruitment for "University Laboratories of Knowledge and Experience" project 

The recruitment for the project entitled "University Laboratories of Knowledge and Experience. Development of qualifications and competences of the staff implementing teaching at JDU" implemented within the "European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027" Programme has ended. 60 people from among the teaching staff from all faculties of JDU and 10 doctoral students of JDU Doctoral School qualified for the project. It is worth noting that 74 academic teachers applied for participation in the project. The project is scheduled to be implemented in 2024–2026. It will include: building an internal network of cooperation of JDU teaching staff, academic supervision and peer tutoring, organisation of study visits and academic laboratories to improve didactic, digital and green transformation competences, as well as a catalyst for the potential of doctoral students allowing, for participation in cross-age tutoring. An obligatory element of participation in the project will be a study visit and internship at renowned domestic and foreign universities with international accreditations and high positions in rankings, implementing innovative teaching and using digital solutions, which nowadays play an important role in education. 

The high quality of education depends to a large extent on the substantive and didactic preparation of the staff involved in the education process, including doctoral students as future teachers. Teaching staff should have the latest knowledge and practical skills, as well as appropriate qualifications that translate into the quality of student education.  The actions taken will not only increase the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, but also increase its attractiveness and build a positive student experience as a result. The priority is to improve the ability to transfer knowledge and conduct classes so as to ensure effective and efficient teaching. The project will allow to implement a comprehensive system of support and competence development of teaching staff to achieve lasting results and holistic support for teachers, taking into account their individual needs, teaching experience and the specificity of classes.
