CONFERENCE ON NATIONAL SECURITY

On October 22 and 23, 2024, the VII Scientific Conference of the series "Poland’s Security in the 20th and 21st Centuries" was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, organised by the Department of Security Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences of JDU, in cooperation with the Faculty of National Security of the War Studies University in Warsaw and the Defense Communities Movement Association. This year's edition was devoted to the 25th anniversary of Poland’s membership in NATO and the 20th anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union.

The Conference was attended by many researchers representing the most important academic centres in Poland. The guest was also the Director of the Military Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of National Defence, Col. dr Lech Drab. 

The conference programme included both historical aspects of Poland’s membership in both organisations, as well as current problems and challenges.
