SOCIAL WORKER DAY IN CZESTOCHOWA COUNTY

On the occasion of the Social Worker Day, on November 22 in Rzerzęczyce, in the Kłomnice Commune, celebrations were held, which gathered social welfare workers from the entire Częstochowa district. The event was an opportunity to honour social workers who support people struggling with life difficulties and all barriers on a daily basis.
" The Social Worker Day, celebrated on November 21, is a celebration of people who support individuals, families and communities in difficult life situations with full commitment. Social work is more than a profession – it is a mission that requires extraordinary empathy, sensitivity and patience. Social workers are silent heroes who make a difference in the lives of others every day."
Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by prof. Mariola Mirowska – Head of the University Support Centre, Head of the Department of Social Policy, Social Work and Tourism, Rector's Plenipotentiary for Persons with Disabilities.
