JDU ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH UNIVERSITY OF PÉCS
On December 17, 2024, a meeting was held at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa of JDU representatives: prof. Bogusław Przywora - Vice-Rector for Research, prof. Marcin Sosnowski - Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Internationalisation, mgr Bartłomiej Kowalik - Chief Specialist in charge of the Department for International Cooperation, with prof. László Kőhalmi, Head of the Department of Criminology and Executive Criminal Law and Head of the Doctoral School at the University of Pécs (Hungary). The meeting was devoted to the possibilities of Polish-Hungarian cooperation and focused on academic exchange and transnational cooperation projects.
The University of Pécs is the oldest university in Hungary. Its roots date back to 1367. The University has 24,000 students, including more than 5,500 international students, and more than 1,800 lecturers and researchers. Its structure consists of 10 faculties. All this makes it one of the largest Hungarian higher education institutions and an educational centre in the Transdanubia region.
