CITY AWARDED AUTHORS OF WORKS ABOUT CZESTOCHOWA

We got to know the winners of the competition of the next edition of the competition: "Award of the Mayor of the City of Częstochowa for the best engineering, bachelor's, master's or doctoral thesis related to the promotion of Częstochowa". This year, the jury decided to award one doctoral thesis and two master's theses. During the gala, it was emphasized: "do what you love and you will never work..." - this is the idea that guided the laureate from our University. It was dr Krzysztof Kościański (from the Faculty of Social Sciences of JDU). He prepared a doctoral dissertation entitled "Football in the Częstochowa region in the years 1906 – 2016". The dissertation was written at the University of Szczecin. It is worth noting that Krzysztof Kościański was awarded the Main Award of the Mayor of the City of Częstochowa. He received a prize of PLN 3000.

The honourable group of winners included mgr Dagmara Rosa (a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Economics of JDU). Her thesis is entitled "Legal aspects of adaptation in the process of educating people with disabilities at universities in selected legal regulations".

The winner of the award in the category of Promoter of Częstochowa Economy was Bocar sp. z o.o. The company cooperates with the Faculty of Science and Technology of JDU. Dual studies are carried out together.

The award ceremony took place on January 13, 2025 as part of the New Year's Celebration Meeting with Mayor Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk. The award ceremony took place traditionally at the Częstochowa Philharmonic.
