"THE SISTINE CHAPEL. HERITAGE"

Since February 10, the inhabitants of Częstochowa have been able to engage in the immersive exhibition 'The Sistine Chapel. Heritage". Thanks to new multimedia technologies, the participants of the exhibition have the opportunity to see Renaissance frescoes, such as "The Creation of Adam" or "The Last Judgement" in a 1:1 scale, and for a moment move to Rome and the Vatican.

The building at Oleńki St. has been divided into an Educational Room and a Cinema Room, where you can learn about the history of the Chapel, the genesis of the creation of individual works, and an Immersion Room, where its interior has been recreated thanks to projectors, and the whole is accompanied by sound and a commentary to the frescoes.  

The exhibition is under the honorary patronage of the Rector of JDU – prof. Janusz Kapuśniak.
