ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS GET TO KNOW POLAND AND ITS TRADITIONS
Erasmus Students Club, together with the tutor and staff of the Welcome Centre, organised another meeting as part of the Welcome Days series of events, aimed at integrating Polish and foreign students of the Erasmus+ programme.
The event took place on March 5 and included three lectures: the history of Poland, which was presented by dr Bartosz Stuła, Polish customs, which were talked about by Joanna Kretkowska, a student of Iberian studies and the president of the Erasmus Students Club, as well as Polish culture, presented by dr Ines Załęska-Olszewska.
After the lectures, a quiz was held to check the knowledge of the participants. Students from Slovakia and Turkey did best, although the representatives of Italy and Georgia also showed great knowledge of the subject. Of course, the best answers were awarded with albums about Poland and diplomas.
Ahead of us is another meeting dedicated to the legal and formal aspects of the stay.
