"YOUNG CHEMIST" INTER-REGIONAL CHEMISTRY TOURNAMENT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS 

The next edition of the Inter-Regional Chemistry Tournament for Primary School Students - "Young Chemist" is underway. The competition, prepared by the Faculty of Science and Technology in cooperation with the A. Mickiewicz High School in Częstochowa, has been organised for 13 years. This year's edition began in December 2024 and will last until May 22, 2025. Over 90 participants from schools in Częstochowa, Janów, Kłobuck, Miedźno, Myszków, Pajęczno, Sosnowiec and Radomsko have registered their participation in the three-stage competition. 35 students were qualified for the second stage. Until 14 February, participants sent multimedia presentations. On March 13, in the Adam Mickiewicz High School No. 5, the written part of the second stage of the Tournament took place. The participants of the competition will find out about the results and qualifications for the finals, which will take place within the walls of our University, at the end of March. The third stage of the Tournament, consisting of a laboratory and a written part, is scheduled for the beginning of May.
