COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN JDU AND NO 28 SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL COMPLEX IN CZESTOCHOWA

On March 24, 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed between Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, represented by the acting Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, Vice-Rector for Research, prof. Bogusław Przywora, and the Special Needs School Complex No. 28, 22 Krótka Street in Częstochowa, represented by the Headmaster, Agnieszka Cupiał, MA.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Interdisciplinary Scientific and Research Centre of JDU University – prof. Piotr Rychter.

The agreement includes, among others, cooperation on the initiation of joint projects of national and international range, including the implementation of tasks envisaged under the COLOURS alliance of European Universities.

The agreement concerns cooperation related to the organisation of the International Scientific Symposium entitled Art Therapy/Art Spaces, which will take place on May 29-31, 2025 in the Nursing Home. 

The Symposium is organised as part of the implementation of tasks specified in the schedule of the "European Universities" project, which brings together 9 Partner Universities in the COLOURS alliance: Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (Poland), Josip Jurai Strossmayer University in Osijek (Croatia), Le Mans University (France), Kristianstad University (Sweden), Paderborn University (Germany) - Alliance leader, University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), University of Ferrara (Italy), University St. Kliment Ohridski - Bitola (North Macedonia) and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (Latvia).

The implementation of the agreement should significantly contribute to further educational, professional and social development in the Czestochowa region.
