WITH EDUCATIONAL OFFER FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
The secondary school leaving exam is just around the corner, and the decision of young people to choose their studies may still not be made. Hence, high school students had the opportunity to learn more about the educational offer of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. On April 14, the Education Fair 2025 was held in the "Politechnika Club" in Częstochowa, hosted by the “Life of Częstochowa and the District" newspaper. The visitors had an opportunity to consult with the representatives of the University from the Communication and Marketing Department - Julia Blukacz and Konrad Balas. As part of the event, a prophylactic performance for young people was held: "IM F!NE - Don't pick on drugs." It showed in an interesting way the problem of fighting drugs among young people.
On April 15, the educational offer was presented in Zawiercie, as part of the "District Academic Day". Potential candidates had an excellent opportunity to talk to representatives of the University, ask about fields of study or the realities of the labour market. In order to encourage even more to study at the University of Częstochowa, the Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Humanities of JDU, dr Andrzej Skwara, gave a lecture entitled: "Let's learn foreign languages. But what for?" The Vice-Dean showed in an accessible way that learning languages is not only part of a compulsory school curriculum or a means to pass the Matura exam – it is above all a tool that opens the door to the world of work, relationships and understanding of other cultures.
We hope that we have convinced students to choose our University as their further path of education. We hope that we will soon meet within the walls of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa!
