Regulations for the use of external network services available through the Central Login Point

§1

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU), in cooperation with the Polish Federation of Identity Management PIONIER.Id, provides access to external web services. Logging in to these services takes place via the JDU Central Login Point, using the JDU account.

§2

The user is obliged to maintain the security of logging in by following the document "Recommendations for secure login" and generally accepted principles of safe use of IT systems.

§3

1. When logging in to an external service, it is usually necessary to provide selected data concerning the user's account, such as e-mail address, status within JDU (employee or student), surname, first name.

2. Before sending data, the user is asked for consent, which can be given once or permanently.

3. Before logging in to the service, the user can check the Privacy Policy for a given service.

4. Users' personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR".

5. JDU acts as a trusted intermediary in the transfer of the user's data to the Service Provider and is not responsible for the processing of personal data in the Service. The user should direct possible enquiries about the data processing process, requests to be forgotten, etc. straight to the Service Provider.

6. JDU is not able to confirm whether the Service Provider is based in the European Economic Area and whether the data is processed in the service in accordance with the GDPR. Such information should be available in the Service's Privacy Policy. In case of doubt, the user should assume that their data may be processed outside the European Economic Area.

7. The user's personal data in connection with logging in to the external service will be transferred to the Service Provider throughout the entire period of JDU's membership in the Polish Federation of Identity Management PIONIER.Id, but no longer than until the user loses the status indicated in point 1. of this paragraph.

§4

1. Unless the terms and conditions of a given service provide otherwise, the user may use the service only for their own needs related to their status at JDU, i.e. work or studies at JDU.

2. The user must comply with any additional restrictions described on the pages of the services, e.g. prohibition of mass downloading, unauthorised publication of data, etc.

3. The user may not share their account with anyone else.

4. The user may not run software that uses the service on their behalf.
