Lanckoronski Foundation
The aim of the Foundation is to initiate research and help individual scholars and scientific institutions in conducting studies within the broadly understood humanities, especially on the history and history of art of Poland and the countries neighbouring the lands of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The time horizon of the research should not exceed 1945.
The Lanckoronski Foundation directly finances projects in line with its goals, as well as supports foreign research by granting scholarships. It also directly co-finances publishing, research and publishing, as well as conference and exhibition projects (if they provide for the publication, e.g. of an exhibition catalogue or a post-conference volume), related to the objectives of the Foundation. These can be projects in the field of art history, history, etc. concerning topics related to the period before 1939 (in special situations, when the topic is extremely important or related to the Foundation's goals, the year 1945 may be a turning point).
The application must be submitted no earlier than 10 December and no later than 15 January.
