PLN 6 MILLION FOR JDU IN REGIONAL EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE COMPETITION

The University has obtained PLN 5,996,000 for the implementation of a programme for the development of scientific research, innovation transfer, internationalisation and education within the disciplines of chemical sciences and environmental engineering, mining and energy in the years 2024-2027. The above funding was awarded by the Ministry as part of the "Regional Excellence Initiative 2024-2027" competition. The plan for the development of scientific disciplines proposed by our University was assessed at 118 points out of 120 possible and thus we obtained 100% of the requested amount for the implementation of several tasks including certification of selected laboratories/research methods, improvement of the competences of research and teaching staff, microgrants, incentive program, raising the level of internationalisation, popularisation and dissemination of science, development of research infrastructure, improvement of quality education for the needs of the economy, implementation of scientific internships, establishment and operation of the Grant Application Support Office and creation of an interdisciplinary scientific journal.

The implementation of the project will allow us to intensify the dynamic development of our University in all areas of its activity.
