The term of office of the University Council is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2024.

Members elected from outside the University community:

dr Krzysztof Winiarski - Chairman of the University Council, 

mgr Andrzej Broniewski,
dr Zbigniew Brzezin, 
dr hab. Grażyna Rygał.

Members elected from among the University community:

dr hab., prof. UJD Eligiusz Małolepszy,
dr hab., inż., prof. UJD Marcin Sosnowski.

Pursuant to Article 19(1)(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – the Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85, as amended), the University Council is also composed by operation of law of the Chairman of the University Student Government Council. This function is currently held by Wiktor Mucha.
