The term of office of the first University Council is from April 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020.

Members elected from among the University community: 

prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Hurnik,
dr hab. Grażyna Rygał, prof. UJD,
dr inż. Marcin Sosnowski

Members from outside the University community: 

mgr Andrzej Broniewski,
dr Zbigniew Brzezin,
dr Krzysztof Winiarski, Chairman of the University Council.

Pursuant to Article 19(1)(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended), the first Council of the University is also composed by operation of law of the Chairman of the University Council of the Student Government of the University. This function is currently held by Damian Banasiak.
