Success of JDU Choir

We are proud to announce that the Academic Choir of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa under the direction of dr Marek Kudra has won the "Silver Band" in the category of academic choirs at the 19th National Competition of Christmas Carols and Pastorals in Chełm. Despite the fact that we were only 1 point short of the golden diploma, we are extremely pleased with the achievement of our Choir. The competition jury, consisting of Prof. Izabela Zielecka-Panek (Cieszyn), Prof. Bernard Mendlik (UKW Bydgoszcz), Prof. Andrzej Ryłko (Adam Mickiewicz University in Kalisz) and Michał Rajewski (Artistic Director of the competition) were impressed by the level of the ensemble after only one year of its existence. 

We would like to congratulate all the members of the Academic Choir. This remarkable achievement is the result of the passion, talent and relentless work of the entire team.
