Promoting University’s technology at meeting of Representative of the Honorary Consulate of Poland in Kolkata with entrepreneurs
On Monday (5 February), the Vice-Rector for University Development, dr hab. inż. Zygmunt Bąk, prof. UJD, Head of the Centre for Knowledge Transfer & Innovation in the Areas of Science & Art (PL: CTWIONS), dr hab. Edmund Golis, prof. UJD, and assistant professor of JDU, dr inż. Marcin Dyner – an owner of the Chirmed Medical Tools Factory, participated in a meeting organised by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Częstochowa of the Representative of the Honorary Consulate of Poland in Kolkata, Mr Joydeep Roy, with entrepreneurs. During the meeting, new opportunities for establishing cooperation between science and business were discussed. The Head of CTWIONS, a member of the RIPH Council, presented the Consul with an offer of technologies owned by the University, intended for commercialisation. He also presented, as the President of the Management Board of the JDU Innovations sp. z o.o., an offer of cooperation and commercialisation of the OSL Helios product through the spin-off company ZERO-RAD sp. z o.o.
