JDU joined European EURAXESS

We are pleased to announce that on February 20, 2024, Jan Dlugosz University joined the European EURAXESS initiative and became a Euraxess Centre within the Euraxess Network. 

EURAXESS is a European network supporting the international mobility of researchers. In Poland, there are 10 units located in scientific institutions in the largest cities.

It is a recognisable European brand that attracts researchers to conduct research in Europe. It is a network that is a gateway for scientists interested in conducting research in Poland or cooperating with Polish institutions. It is a tool created by members of networks that are used by scientists from all over the world. EURAXESS provides free and personalised information for researchers and their families when moving to our country.

As a EURAXESS CENTRE, the University will receive: 

 • access to knowledge and training, study visits, presentations, tools, participation in European initiatives and projects

• an international network of contacts

• cooperation within the framework of CoP and HUB, (a network support programme for entrepreneurs, set up by research organisations)

• promotion and recognition

• information on European policy

• training for its researchers.

Registering a university as a EURAXES Centre allows individuals to join the network as members of the Euraxess Centre within the University.
