EURAXESS Katowice conference
We are pleased to announce that during the working meeting of the members of the Euraxess network in Poland on March 15, five institutions were selected to take part in the International Conference organised in Katowice – the European City of Science on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of EURAXESS. The organisers of the conference awarded a total of 5 places to Polish institutions.
The activities of JDU and the involvement of the Welcome Centre, e.g. the development of the so-called survival kit for foreigners, were appreciated by the organiser of the meeting – the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was ranked fourth among eleven institutions in Poland and will take part in the conference together with the National Centre for Nuclear Research, the University of Rzeszów, the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
By participating in the EURAXESS network, we are becoming a European-wide initiative, providing support for mobility while strengthening international cooperation. We have access to a wide range of services supporting the pursuit of scientists' professional ambitions, the largest database of job offers and grants for researchers, as well as tools for career development and building scientific cooperation.
