Oliwia Pierzgalska, JDU student, EU Career Ambassador in 2024/2025
We are pleased to announce that the Careers Office has received information from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM) that Oliwia Pierzgalska, a second-year student of long-cycle degree programme in law (Faculty of Law and Economics), has met all the requirements and has been qualified to serve as the Career Ambassador of the European Union 2024/2025. Our Ambassador has already had her first experience of cooperation with the institutions of the European Union. She cooperated in the "Green is Better" panel of the European Student Assembly 2024, developing recommendations for the European Union, which were presented to the European Parliament on April 10-12. In addition, she has participated in student programmes such as the Academy for Justice Leaders and Econverse. In addition, she is a volunteer at the Council of the Baltic Sea States and works in a focus group on child protection. She is also the chair of the Law Clinic at Jan Dlugosz University.
The Career Ambassadors programme was launched in 2010 by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). As the EU Career Ambassador, Oliwia Pierzgalska will take part in the promotion of work and internships in the EU structures among students of our University.
