Department of Music invites to university evening at Czestochowa Philharmonic
The Department of Music invites all academic community to the next University Evening at the Częstochowa Philharmonic. This time, the event will accompany the IV INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF PHD STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS "FACES OF GUITARS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH". The evening will begin with a lecture by mgr Wojciech Gurgul (JDU Doctoral School) entitled "The ups and downs of the guitar's popularity over the centuries".
It will be followed by the musical part of the evening, in which the following artists will perform: Miłosz Mączyński - romantic guitar (Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow), Marcin Kuźniar - guitar (JDU Doctoral School), Radosław Wieczorek - guitar (Doctoral School of Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow) and Kupiński Guitar Duo: Ewa Jabłczyńska (Department of Music of JDU) and Dariusz Kupiński (Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice). The evening will end with the opening of an exhibition prepared by PhD students of JDU Doctoral School: Dorota Bujak – graphic design and Maria Hulist – painting.
The evening begins this Wednesday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or on the website of the Częstochowa Philharmonic.
