Representative of COLOURS Alliance at European Student Assembly (ESA24)
On April 10-12, 2024, the third edition of the European Student Assembly (ESA24) took place in Strasbourg, France, hosting students from 170 European universities in the European Parliament.
ESA24 is a platform for the active involvement of students in debates on key European issues. It is an opportunity for young Europeans to participate in a dialogue on the formulation of the European Union's policy recommendations.
This meeting was an excellent opportunity to share experiences and create proposals for solutions that can be implemented within the framework of the European Union policy. Within the framework of ESA, students from universities from all over Europe were assigned to one of eleven panels, which focused on the most important political issues such as security, ecology, artificial intelligence or the upcoming elections to the European Parliament.
2,200 students from all over Europe applied for the programme, and 251 students who had been preparing for the meeting since January qualified to participate. Oliwia Pierzgalska, a second-year law student, represented our university and the COLOURS alliance during this event in panel 2 "Green is Better".
