JAN DLUGOSZ UNIVERSITY IN CZESTOCHOWA ACTIVELY COOPERATES WITH MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL: PROF. SIEROŃ IN SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR HOSPITAL DIRECTOR

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa plays an increasingly important role in the local health community, which significantly affects the quality of education and prospects for academic development. Recent events, such as the election of representatives to the competition committee whose task is to select the new director of the Municipal Hospital in Częstochowa, as well as the presence of a representative of JDU in the hospital's social council, testify to the strengthening of cooperation between the University and the city.

A particularly important aspect is the nomination of Professor Aleksander Sieroń, Vice-Rector for Medical & Health Sciences, who represents the University in the competition committee. His participation in the process of selecting a new director is an expression of confidence in his competences and a confirmation that JDU is a key partner in the strategy for the development of the local health sector.

The presence of Jan Dlugosz University in the key decision-making bodies of the hospital is a positive step towards further integration of medical education with practical medical activity, which may lead to the transformation of the Municipal Integrated Hospital into a teaching hospital. Such a development will not only raise the standards of treatment, but also enable JDU medical students to gain practical skills in a modern clinical environment, which is important in the process of educating future doctors.
