OUR REPRESENTATIVES AT NAFSA 2024 ANNUAL CONFERENCE & EXPO

From May 28 to 31, 2024, New Orleans, United States of America, is hosting one of the largest conferences in the world dedicated to the internationalisation of higher education – NAFSA: Association of International Educators. 

On the first day of the event, the organisers registered about 8 thousand people, including JDU team: prof. Jakub Jakubowski and mgrBartłomiej Kowalik. Our University is part of the Polish delegation, which consists of 20 representatives. Under the auspices of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), the participants of the meeting have the opportunity to conduct dialogue and create a space for cooperation, which in the future will affect the real internationalisation of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.

The opening of the Polish stand was attended by representatives of NAWA: Director of the Office for Polish Language Programmes dr Mariusz Czech, Head of the Team for the Promotion of Higher Education Abroad dr Joanna Jancz, Head of the Potential Development Team of the Institution Radosław Podgródny and Maja Iwaszkiewicz, Chief Specialist, Communication and Promotion Office of NAWA. The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Houston, Andrzej Fąfara, and the representative of the Polish Embassy in Washington, dr Katarzyna Granat, also honoured with their presence.
