LAWYERS FROM 55 UNIVERSITIES FROM POLAND AND ABROAD MEET AT JDU
The Faculty of Law and Economics of JDU is the organiser of the 66. Congress of Chairs and Departments of Constitutional Law. The Congress will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Częstochowa, and its leading topic is: "Constitutional determinants of public finance in Poland and political practice".
The inauguration of the event will take place on September 25 in the Bastion of St. Barbara at Jasna Góra. Further deliberations, which will be attended by over 170 eminent academics from 55 universities from Poland, the Czech Republic and Ukraine, will be held at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. Among the distinguished participants of the Congress will be the Commissioner for Human Rights, dr hab. Marcin Wiącek, and the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Judge Sylwester Marciniak.
The aim of the Congress is to create a forum for the legal and constitutional perspective with the perception of the role and tasks of other entities guaranteeing the financial security of the state. This issue is important not only for the study of constitutional law, but also for political practice. The intention of the organisers is also to present Czestochowa and Jan Dlugosz University, as well as to present the Faculty of Law and Economics as a dynamically developing scientific center.
