OUR LAW GRADUATE AWARDED BY MINISTER OF SCIENCE
Joanna Prajel's master's thesis received a distinction from the Minister of Science in the XXII edition of the competition for the best scientific paper on intellectual property organised by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.
Joanna Prajel is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Economics of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. In June 2024, she prepared and defended her master's thesis entitled "European patent system with unitary effect. Analysis of the process and the projected effects of the introduction", under the supervision of dr Anna Rogacka-Łukasik (Vice-Dean for General Affairs at the Faculty of Law and Economics).
The Patent Office of the Republic of Poland received a total of 34 competition works, including: 1 habilitation thesis, 6 doctoral theses, 24 master's theses and 3 bachelor's theses. In the "master's thesis" category, the members of the Jury evaluated the submitted competition works and decided to award prizes and distinctions funded by the Minister of Science and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage to the authors of the works, awarding the first and second degree prizes and distinctions. The authors of the works affiliated such universities as: the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University, the University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow.
