STAGE II OF SECURITY AND DEFENCE KNOWLEDGE COMPETITION IS BEHIND US

On December 6, the second stage – district level - of the Competition of Knowledge on Security and Defence took place, led by the Department of Security Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences of JDU. This is the ninth edition of the event, addressed to high school students from all over Poland. Its organiser is the University of Warsaw, and the co-organiser, within the agreement, is Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, at which the Silesian District Committee is established. The variable programme of the Competition in the 2024/2025 school year concerned the organisation, powers and activities of the international and local police. 29 students from the Silesian Voivodeship qualified for this year's stage of the regional competition, 10 of whom will take part in the central competition in Warsaw. 
After the test part of the competition, the students visiting JDU participated in the presentation of the 13th Silesian Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces.
