YOUNG ARTISTS AT PHILHARMONIC. UNIVERSITY EVENING JANUARY 29
On Wednesday, January 29, in the halls of the Częstochowa Philharmonic, another University Evening will take place, this time the creators of which will be young artists associated with the Faculty of Art of Jan Dlugosz University.
The meeting will begin with a LECTURE entitled "Radical closeness. On contemporary photography of the young" by mgr Jakub Dziewit from the Department of Painting of JDU.
It will be followed by a chamber CONCERT by Jagoda Krzemińska-Chałupka (flute) and Przemysław Chałupka (accordion). Jagoda Krzemińska-Chałupka is a musician of the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie in Gorlitz, Germany, and Przemysław Chałupka represents the Doctoral School of JDU. They will perform TWO PREMIERES of new works by Polish composers: Hubert Żmudzki and Paweł Konkol, as well as works by Camille Saint-Saens, Ator Piazzolla and Francois Borne in an arrangement for flute and accordion.
The evening will end with the OPENING of the exhibition of Jadwiga Janowska from the Department of Painting of JDU, who will present a series of photographic works entitled "Configurations of Closeness". The series consists of photographs printed on sheet metal with a format of 100x150. The event will also be an opportunity for the audience and artists to meet and talk for a while.
