JDU VOLLEYBALL TEAMS WITH MEDALS AT SILESIAN ACADEMIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

The JDU volleyball teams presented a high level of sport in the Silesian Academic Volleyball Championships, which ended last week. The men's national team, together with the playing coach Andrzej Stelmach, won all matches in the competition, which began in November, winning the gold medal of the World Championships. On the other hand, the volleyball team, coached by Marlena Szlubowska, had to acknowledge the superiority of the players from UBB Bielsko-Biała only in one quarter-final match and finally finished the competition with a bronze medal at the World Championships. Thus, both JDU teams won promotion to the next stage of the competition, which are the semi-final tournaments of the Polish Academic Championships, which will take place at the beginning of April.
