ARE YOU A HAPPY CAMPER?

This and similar questions full of idiomatic expressions about happiness could be answered by students of the Wood and Environmental Protection School Complex from Radomsko, who, together with their teachers, visited the Faculty of Humanities of our University again on April 14, 2025.

The students took part in another language workshop this academic year, prepared by dr Magdalena Raganiewicz and mgr Agata Leśniczek, and conducted by third-year students of English Philology: Amelia Michalak, Emilia Siedlak and Kacper Zenderowski.

During the meeting, the young people had the opportunity to revise adjectives describing our emotions, learn about synonyms of the word "happy", get acquainted with idioms describing different levels of happiness and learn how to name various types of laughter. The teenagers also performed "The brainstorming session", beat "The chuckle challenge", and at the end solved a short quiz on happiness in a global perspective.

We hope that the almost 90-minute workshop brought a lot of satisfaction to the students, aroused joy and brought a smile to their faces, which is an expression of happiness.
